Holden Kepecs, Senior Editor

Holden Kepecs is Senior Editor for Lucky Duck Productions. His credits include the editing of six primetime Emmy, one Peabody, a DuPont, and multiple Gracie and Parents’ Choice award-winning programs.

His enthusiasm for storytelling, and his technical expertise of the Avid, are matched only by his dedication to the craft of editing.

In his twenty-year span at Lucky Duck, Kepecs helped establish the look for Nick News with Linda Ellerbee, the longest running children’s news series in television history, and edited nearly 300 of its episodes. Some of his most recent programs include Are We There Yet: Women’s History, Past, Present, and Future featuring Gloria Steinem, If Only I Were an Only Child, featuring Seth Meyers, Donny & Marie Osmond, Tony Hawk and Romeo, and Haiti Rising? Life in the Ruins, a show about the lives of children in the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.

While at Lucky Duck, Kepecs has also edited programs and series for ABC, CBS, Lifetime, MTV – and, most recently, a documentary on the American legend, Studs Terkel, which aired on HBO.

Kepecs began his career editing national commercials and music videos. He moved on to freelance editing for Noggin and MTV before finding his home at Lucky Duck.

When not locked in the edit room, Kepecs, his wife and two children, who live in Manhattan, can be found looking for sea turtles on the shores of that island.
